POLICIES RESERVATION/CANCELLATION AGREEMENT When you reserve a special room at the Carlisle House, we agree to turn away all other requests for the room you select and you agree to pay the rate quoted for the number of days you reserve. NOTE *** We strongly recommend Travel Insurance sufficient to cover cancellation costs. Cancellation Policy - If you find the need to cancel your reservation we will make every attempt to rebook your room, however, please note the following: RESERVATION/CANCELLATION AGREEMENT When you reserve a room at the Carlisle House, we agree to turn away all other requests for the specific room you select and you agree to pay the rate quoted for the number of days you rerserve. If you find the need to cancel your reservation we will make every attempt to rebook your room, however, please note the following: *** For Special Event Dates such as Dickinson Events (Back-to-School, Parents Weekend, Graduation, Alumni) AWC Graduation, CPYB Summer Programs and the Carlisle Events Shows) your credit card will be charged 30 days prior to your arrival date. AT THAT TIME in the event of cancellation the charge becomes non-refundable UNLESS we are able to rebook your room. If we can rebook your room, then the charged amount, less a $25-$45 per night cancellation fee will be refunded to your card. *** For Prime Season Weekends (April 1 to November 15) and Holidays, other than Special Event Dates, your credit card will be charged 15 days prior to your arrival date. At that time in the event of cancellation the charge becomes non-refundable UNLESS we are able to rebook your room. If we can rebook your room, then the charged amount, less a $25-$45 per night cancellation fee will be refunded to your card. *** For Prime Season Weekdays (April 1 to November 15), if a cancellation is made fewer than 7 days prior to your arrival date, and if the canceled room cannot b e rebooked, you will be charged your full reservation amount. In the event that the room can be rebooked, only a $25-$45 per night cancellation fee will be charged. *** For any other reservation, if a cancellation is made fewer than 3 days prior to your arrival date, or if you are a "NO SHOW," you will be responsible for the entire amount of the reservation, as the room was held specifically for you. NOTE *** We strongly recommend Travel Insurance sufficient to cover cancellation costs. *** Early departures will be charged the full amount of the room reservation. Minimums - A 2 or 3 night minimum is required on Special Event weekends and some Prime Season weekends Check-in time & Late Arrivals - 4pm - 7pm; PLEASE NOTE: We ask for your check-in time so that we can offer you the best personal service on your arrival. If you will be later than your requested time, please call 717-249-0350, option 2 and let us know. Check-out time - 11am; we are happy to make alternative arrangements on request and will store your luggage on the day of departure from 11 o'clock onwards. Deposits - A stay of five or more nights requires a non-refundable $25/day deposit. A stay of less than five nights requires an advance deposit in the amount of one night's lodging in the selected room. CHECK DEPOSIT: If the reservation is made at least five weeks before the check-in date, deposits may be made by personal check which must be received by the Carlisle House at least 28 days before check-in. Otherwise, deposits may be made by a credit card at the time of booking. For block reservations of six (6) or more rooms, a deposit for each room in the amount of one night's stay is required at time of booking and a Service Fee of 15% will be added to the reservation total before taxes. For block reservations, the Special Event Cancellation Policy of 30 days prior is in effect. Prices - All room prices are for single or double occupancy. Where possible, additional guests may be accommodated for a fee of $25 to $35 per night Taxes - All accommodations are subject to 6% PA StateTax and 3% Local Occupancy Tax Smoking - For the health of our guests, smoking is limited to outside areas Young adults - over the age of 12 are welcome Pets - For the safety and comfort of our guests who suffer allergies, the Carlisle House is pet-free.
